Im going to be cooking a couple of weed brownies for my bday , 7 days and counting. Im wondering does the cake smell out the oven/kitchen. Also im going to be just putting the grinded weed straight in the mix because its a premade brownie mix, how much less potent will this cake be compared to making it by using butter that has been boiled with weed and water? one more thing, why do people use the unsmoked leaves and stems for cake, is it because it saves wasting the leftover leaves or is it because it is more potent with leaves rather than with whole buds. thanks OCF
use duncan hines brownie mix (because 9 out of 10 DH mixes call for OIL) and make THC oil! Its much easier than making butter and works better than just throwing shake into the mix. GRIND your shake and stick in the oil that has been heated on the lowest possible temp. simmer it stirring constantly for 25 minutes on the lowest possible setting. poor the oil and shake through a strainer lined with cheese cloth. make sure to squeeze the shake that you gather in the cheese cloth so that all the oil gets out of the shake and into a container. then use this oil in the mix. note: if memory serves me correctly the DH recipe calls for 1 cup oil. after you simmer the grass for 25 minutes the 1 cup oil will reduce down to about 1/2 cup. you have two options.... option 1: after simmering and straining, top off your 1/2 cup of special oil with another 1/2 cup of oil to give you the 1 cup the recipe calls for option 2: start off with 1 1/2 cups of oil to begin with and it should reduce to the right amount. it will smell while you make the oil.
Is the smell noticable to anyone around the oven or kitchen, I live with my parents and even though they allow me to smoke I dont like to bring weed in the house at all. How much weed should I put in the cake, I cant realy get leaves which the recipe calls for so Ill be using buds, I'll probably pick up an 1/18th average 3.5g altho depending on where I get it I could get anything up to 7g.
3.5g is 1/8th not 1/18th. if you have great bud then 7g will do. if you have average bud you'll need 14g - 28g. be warned: baking brownies and eating them won't get you as high as smoking all that dope. yes people throughout the kitchen will smell what you are doing. perhaps people throughout the whole first floor will smell something. they may not be able to identify the smell but they will perk up.
Yes I know thanks it was a typo Lol I know that, I was just wondering if the smell spreads, I was trying to work out wether the smell would still affect the surrounding area even if it was in cake mix Is that realy true, ive heard several times from posts and guides that eating cannabis infused food gets you more high than smoking it.
Yes. When you ingest cannabis, your liver turns the thc into a different chemical than when you smoke it. Generally you need to ingest smaller amounts to get high than with smoking. It must be ingested with an oil base such as butter or cooking oil, as THC is not soluble in water. Best to make the oil or butter first, then add it to the recipe. But there are so many cannabis recipes out there I dont need to re-hash. You wont get high from being in the same room that it is cooking in, the smell will be distinct to anyone under the age of 60, and always eat a small amount and wait 1 hour at least for the effects to start coming on. Dont make the common mistake of not waiting long enough, and making yourself sick. If you eat too much you will be sorry. Thats about all I can tell you. Good luck!
