They put me on it instead of something milder because I have a screwed up medical history so they won't let me be on anything that supresses my appetite. wellsince about a week after I've been taking it I've been eating as much as a grown man probobly would. I don't know if it's because I have no anxiety and it makes me incredibly calm and happy or if it's just a coincidence because I have been a little more active. is a strong appetite a common side effect?

no. I don't think this is related to the drug.

    . . . and me, too!

I LOVE it! For me, it works much better than Paxil, with less side effects. I am also on Adderal. I think I am also going to go back on Wellbutrin, I like the kick I get from the extra dopamine.

    BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY!!!

No, not true. Lexapro does give you the munchies according to my doctor. He said that is common with them. I ate like 5 meals a day when I took lexapro so I quit taking it, compared to my usual 2 meals a day. I personally would prefer anxiety than the hell lexapro put me through. I would grind me teeth all night, be exhausted in the mornings, eat all day, etc. HATED IT. I had to get a root canal from the teeth grinding that killed a tooth because I grinded my teeth so bad.

all non sedusive anti-depressents may cause increased appetite (Zoloft, lexapro ect.)
oh and if your young, like 18 or younger PLEASE be careful, Zoloft made me want to cut myself: and i did, 10 times in my left arm: they wernt deep, but still

That's pretty crazy of you. I've heard some anti-depressants on some people can cause them to think they're life has become complete and perfect, and as a result, they will commit suicide because they have nothing else left to live for. Mostly Effexor.

The adderall lexapro combo makes since to me but not the adderall wellbutrin. When I tried the adderall/wellbutrin combination years ago at best it felt just like adderall at worst it felt like I was having a heart attack.
