I have a new job at a bookstore and for the past month or so I've been running into people with my name (Marilyn) and it's spelled exactly the same. I think it's strange, maybe a sign. Perhaps someone/thing is trying to tell me something and is persisting. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I've run into more Marilyn's in the past month than I have my whole life. They're always older women. I find out that their name is Marilyn by their credit card, check, etc. I'm a cashier. A few weeks ago, for example, I ran into two Marilyn's in one day, then I placed a book on hold for a Marilyn. Another example is from yesterday. My first customer was a woman with the middle name Marilyn. When she found out my name is Marilyn, she asked who I was named after. I'm named after Marilyn Monroe. "Oh!" she said delighted, "What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl!" Then she took my hand and held it, saying goodbye, while the next guest in line looked at her very oddly, lol. It was a nice way to start my morning though, I appreciate her comment. Can anyone help me out?
I have recently ran into a girl which I hope will be the love of my life, and her nephew is named Jimi, like me... This has had many people comfused, so don't worry you're not alone. If I find out why it keeps happening I'll be sure to let yuo know!
