My first thought was to say Slayer.
Then I thought of Metallica...
Then even Pantera's - Walk

What can I say...I guess it would take a long time to rack my brain around such a thing. I could just settle and say something by Judas Priest or Black Sabbath.
Instead, I'll go with Dio - Rainbow In The Dark

Hmm so many greats to choose from.....I very much doubt I could pick jst one song Ill have to think on this one...oh and Cemetary Gates well thats gotta be one the list.

 

'One' is the best. Metallica are the best. 'Master Of Puppets', 'Ride The Lightning', 'Blackened', 'Harvester Of Sorrow', 'Fade To Black', 'Orion', 'The Four Horsemen' etc.

But waht about 'Cowboys From Hell' and 'Floods' by Pantera? Both pretty fucking amazing.

 

Judas Priest - Painkiller and Iron Maiden - Hallowed be thy name are surely in the top ten.

I rarely listen to the old heavy/thrash metal so any song I might propose would probably get exactly one vote... apart from that, I could never pick out a single song or even few songs.

Can any thing by Black Sabbath (only with Ozzy of course) be a choice haha

 

My personal opinion is that only the later albums with Ozzy could be considered heavy metal. Heaven and hell, with Dio, is also a fine heavy metal record though. Also some songs of Mob rules are good heavy metal, so it's not 'of course' to me.
