I'm sure you all have heard about the shooting yesterday morning at Virginia Tech. I do not know the finer details but I do know: 29 students injured 4 students with gun shot wounds being treated, 1 in critical condition 33 students dead So please my friends, in whatever way you can, send your love to those at VTech. This is such a scary thing, esp. for a college student. Also, light a candle: http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/enter.cfm?l=eng Thank you my friends.
I really don't mean to sound rude, but fifty people catching bullets or blowing up or keeling over from a new mystery disease is a daily occurrence in about 50% of the world,~ and suddenly America feels bad when it happens just once here? I know I sound like a jerk right now, but come on... You live in Boston. We can walk down the street and see somebody get ganked any day of the week. I never see any memorials for them. Nobody cares about the guy who gets sliced over fifty bucks? Why? Because he wasn't on national TV? Sorry to rain all over a perfectly good thread, but seriously~
