real acid or not?

I was visiting Ashville with a friend, hopeing to find some acid. Some old guy walked by and asked if we wanted acid. It seemed like the perfect oppertunity, so we gave him $14 for 2 hits of "acid". He walked in the resteraunt where he supposidly had a dealer, and brought it out. Being that i was stoned at the time and just generally being a dumbass, I didnt check in the toilet paper he handed me. We walked off, and when we got to the hotel, looked in it and im pretty shure it isnt anything. It is a plain white pice of paper about 1X2 cm, and almost looks like its just somthing cut off an index card. i licked it and it didnt taste bitter, which i thought acid was supposed too. Even if it is acid, we only got 1 hit. But I think we just got ripped off majorly. Iv never bought or done acid before, and I was just wondering if anyone could tell by what iv described if it is or isnt. Regardless, ill probly eat it next weekend just in case it actually is, but it would be good to know if i should expect it to work or not.

 

sounds actualy a lil big for two hits of L, blotter tabs are not that big. you may not have been ripped off, you ripped yourself off by not doing proper research ahead of time. LSD doesnt taste like anything, well actualy I dont really know that, I have never tried eating straight crystaline lsd in large enough quantities to get a very good taste.

The best thing is to not expect anything at all, if you get mind blown then YAY, but if you dont then meh, cant have everything you want.

 

Well, if you ate the "hits" and you felt no effects, then it wasnt acid.

ya, i know what forms it comes in, and what they usually look like. thats y i dont think it is, because iv never seen or heard about a hit, or even 2 hits together being that size or shape... and i oviously dont know what it tastes like, because iv never done it before, but iv heard from people that it is slightly bitter... but i guess the only way to know is to try, but i think im going to have to wait till next weekend, in case it is actualy acid, because i dont have a good setting to trip until then.

 

actually blotter hits are supposed to be a square cm. a 1x2 cm slice of thick paper sounds exactly like two hits, and it's true that acid has no taste at all. if it were bitter you could expect an RC.

 

oh, ok. thanx. i was used to seeing the 1X1 ones with designs, and didnt even think that the hits wernt seperated... wow, im glad that its possible that i didnt get riped off. for a first timer who weighs like 115 lbs, would you recommend taking the whole thing, or cutting it in half?

There is no other drug that is easier to rip someone off on then blotter hits of acid. It is so easy to sell fake blotter hits, It is not a drug you can taste like coke,crack,Herion etc to make sure its real. you can not smell it like Dust, Pot, K etc. When i was younger I got riped off alot when buying hits at a concert or from a street dealer I did not know. when it comes to hits you never know what you are going to get it is a risk every time if you don't know the dealer. you have to find a dealer who has good hits and stick with him so you are 100% sure you got the real shit every time you buy them. There is nothing that sucks worse then getting all pumped up to trip and then you take the hits and they are duds !!!

I didnt really lick it, i just like touched my tounge on a little part of it, and we were planning on taking it then anyways, but then we thought about it and realized it wasnt a good time....

 

I read somewhere (Erowid maybe?) that LSD glows under a blacklight, and that it could be used as a half assed potency test. Ive never actually had a need to try this....my connections are very legit i dont have to worry about getting ripped off. Anyone else ever heard of this method??

 

iv read that before, but i also read that lotts of other stuff does also besides acid..... but thats a good idea. i just need a black light. i think one of my friend may have one, so if i can get my hands on it by this weekend, ill find out. if not by then, ill just drop tha whole fuckin thing and see what happens...

 

acid does not glow under a black light. That is a urban myth. LSD is color ess oder less and taste less. well real LSD from the ergot Fungus does not but synthetic LSD that is made buy a chemist has a taste if you ask me and 95% of blotter hits are synthetic LSD. I know for meMost hits I haven taken have have a taste when you put them on your tung or make my tung a little numb. But you also have to watch out for people putting a little coke on the tabs so it numbs your tung and you think they are real.
