Please feel free to choose an option from the poll regardless of your political experiences, thankyou.
it isn't so much politicians i lack faith in, although i seriously question the sanity of anyone who whould want to be one, unless they had a vision in mind that they were willing to litteraly walk through hell for, as it is the value, let alone virtue, of soverignty, let alone that of ANY idiology. =^^= .../\...
Many thanks for your votes so far, though actually it would be cool if you could post a messge of any sort - just so I can interpret your age and location. Again thanks everyone for your quick response so far
I live in the UK I am 31 and I voted for the third one, although i do think giving people the option to vote for more than one of those would have been valid for this poll S
Apologies for this, only been on this sight for a couple of days. I am not sure if I can correct this problem - I will look into it
i think that a lot of politicians are motivated by the wrong things. not that they all are, but since they're also trying to win our approval, we'll never really know who thinks what. it's so much about appeal. and i think that's wrong.
The majority of politicians give their vote to whoever "donates" the most cash. Politics are waaaaay too political. I have no faith at all in the United States political system, and will continue not to till people start voting for the man instead of the party. I think they should get rid of the Deomocratic and Republican party and get rid of the double monopoly so we can get some simple-minded folks in office.
I have recieved interesting results on the polls so thanks everyone for participating. For anyone whoc hasn't voted please feel to take part Cheers
Anyone that wants you to believe that the Iraqi's hates freedom, democracy, and you and I personally...i dont agree with.
Zero faith - the issues are relevant and not are all liars - there is no true representation from any party - each party has a agenda (good and bad) - it takes national attention on an issue before the politicians will listen to who voted them in
Do you feel that public protest in its traditional form has any ability to influence political change?
The politicians are there because they were voted there. If you don't like it then fucking run for office yourself or, better yet, put the pipe down and fucking vote. It's all the fuckers that sit on their ass in front of a computer all damn day and bitch that are the problem. Get up and DO SOMETHING!!! ITS YOUR FAULT KING GEORGE IS IN OFFICE IN THE FIRST GOD-DAMNED PLACE.
Sorry I haven't made this blog clear, though I must say I am very interested in your reaction judging that you don't exactly know my political stance. Currently, I am doing a dissertation on politics and music, examining how they both interact. As part of the research for this I have to analyse whether (as it's been documented), political interest is declining within public arena. If disagree with consensus, then simple tick the relevant option that appeals to you.
I don't even completely trust politicians of the party I follow. It's hard to trust them sometimes as a whole. Overall they can be pretty two-faced, but that's expected - they try to appeal to all sorts of crowds. They don't want to have a limited audience, so they put on acts to impress/gain the support of more groups of people. I don't have a ton of faith in politicians, but I wouldn't say that I have zero faith in them either.
I want to have faith in them. But everytime i start to give one a chance they blow it by doing something stupid. So no, not anymore.
I said that I have no faith in politicians because they are dishonest but more importantly, they are incredibly ignorant when it comes to several major issues that affect me and millions of my peers(weed, Iraq, etc.).
