OK, thanks for that statistical analytical approach to lactose intolerancy. WTF was that all about!? 1) Whats that gotta do with manking discovering drinking milk and 2) How the hell does anyone / you even get to know all that!? lol
that wasnt from the milk LOL if you want to talk about hormones though, soy milk pretty much converts to estrogen
Umm well it happened to my mom as well. We didn't gain weight so you can't blame it on that. I'm not on birth control, I don't take vitamins, and my diet wouldn't effect me in that way. So you explain it to me. The only difference was that she and I started drinking more milk. I was drinking two glasses a day. And they like to give cows all kinds of growth hormones.
None usually- every now and then I'll drink soy milk or organic milk but regular milk causes breast cancer.
oh wow, i drink skim milk because the full cream stuffs way too creamy for my liking..depending on how thirsy i am I might drink 2-3 cups..on occasion maybe half a litre hahaha
the added growth hormones in cows milk arent even measurabe. i dont know what caused your breast size to increase, but wouldnt that be a good thing? if it happened to your mom too then it might be genetic. the whole scandal over growth hormones in milk is actually just propaganda made up by the EU because of a small trade war between the EU and the US a while ago. the EU started adding tarrifs to US imported milk and meat who injected their livestock with growth hormones and justified it to the public with made up facts and faux research. the u.s responded with a tariff on something else. the world trade organization agrees that hormone addited meats and milk dont have any side effects
The hormones are measurable enough in cows that it is linked to breast cancer. I read a much better article then this in a magazine but I threw the magazine out... but anyways.... http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA400175
dam.. you have me all scared now. i dont have breasts but its also linked to prostate and testicular cancer.
wow almost everyone has answered to not drinking milk, suprising.. i love it. i drink at least a glass of 1% a day.
I will not drink something that is as dirty and unhealthy as milk. Pretty much everything positive that's been said about milk has been a lie, except for the calcium, and there are other sources for that. Milk is loaded with all sorts of hormones, antibiotics and bacteria that nobody should be bringing into their bodies. There is also much evidence linking milk consumption to diabetes. I stay away from the stuff. Just the thought of milk makes me nauseous.
i go through a gallon of my 2% in less then a week. i'm not sure how that works out for daily consumption but i do suppose that's a bit above average. i don't hardly ever drink carbonated beverages and we seldom have any in the house. how mankind figgured out about (cow's) milk? well you know those pretty bumpy things on girl's chests? ... you know like mommies have when you're born? well presumably somebody got hungry enough to try the milk of other species, that being one thing they could be pretty sure wouldn't kill them. =^^= .../\...
I drink my tea with a little bit of milk but that's it. I get my calcium from elsewhere, like spinach, kale and tofu. And cheeeese.
I used to be a major milk drinker, but now it's rare that I drink a glass. Of course, I use it on cereal and with cooking/baking, but that's about it. My kids on the other hand...major milk drinkers, especially my twins, who will be 4 years old next month. My oldest, who is 7, likes milk, but prefers flavoring to it, or in smoothies. My husband never drinks glasses of milk.
i love milk, a gallon at everymeal and chocolate milk between meals as a snack plus a gallon of hot milk before i go to bed at night... about 7 gallons a day (non of that low-fat crap)
I don't really see how it is any of your business that I drink a glass of milk each day, to be quite honest.
I have at least a glass of milk a day. Plus, I love vanilla yogurt, so that's another half-cup-to-a-cup of dairy a day that I eat....
