Well, I would guess that it would be think like a sheet. I doubt you'd get anything thicker than that for $20.
They are *definately* thin like a sheet~They won't provide much warmth~but they are nice to throw down on your couch~or hang in the windows~or throw down if you go to a festival and you don't want to sit directly on the dirt or grass~
