:agree: It sounds like you are smothering him . I know that you love him a lot but no one wants to spend every single waking moment with another person, even if at first you feel that way, and even if you love them. Let me elaborate, everyone needs some "me time" some "alone time" to gather thoughts, relax, or just to feel whole again. Everyone who was/ is in a relationship that got a little heavy can agree that you have the feeling that you want to be with that person for every second of your life but everyone in a successful heavy relationship can agree that alone time is s must! Another thing, that wasn't in your post that might be going wromg is, your outside life. A lof of people obliviouisly, ruin their outside relationships with pre-boyfgriend/girlfriend mutual friends by spending all free time with their "soulmate." Just find the balance between love and me time.

    Good fortune![IMG]

good advice, except don't assume that it's a girls night out or a guy's night out. Tell her to go out with her friends not with the girls.

I agree 100 percent. Have your own interests and respect that he has his own.

When you get closer act like you need him (without being needy) sometimes guys bitch and moan when you start it first and saying 'god I am so glad you are here to take care of me when I am sick. I am so lucky to have you!' is a much better way to get attention than blaming (even though you know he is wrong!). What guy is going to be a dick after you say that? If they're decent they'll be incredibley empathetic once they are comftrable enough to know you aren't going to push them away.

This would be a definite no for me. It would show you dont love him, put doubts in his mind about trust, and basically anything you had until then would crumble, even if you didnt go to the extreme of sleeping with someone else. I really feel "trying to make him jealous" in any way would be a bad idea

You don't need money to get out of the house, but people are hooked on the idea that "we're broke we can't go anywhere. Last time I checked going for a walk was free. Just try to spend some time apart if you can.

You mentioned that he is starting a new job, and that might help. Are you working? If not, why not find a job that gets you out of the house and takes some of the financial burden off of him. Money problems are one of the top 3 reasons for divorce, so it is going to cause problems in your relationship unless you talk to each other openly.

    Uggh....

    Men and women????

After having 3 husbands and over 30 years of experience
    with men...

    I have reached one conclusion...

Male company is fantastic...love to mix socially with them,
do music with them, have sex and fun together....

    But long term relationships....

nah.....doesnt seem to work for many does it?

    :)

Yeah be independant totally of your man......

and maybe have another one on the side....:)

YOU SAY YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY FOR ANYTHING AND THAT YOU ARE CONSTANTLY TOGETHER, BUT THAT'S WHAT A RELATIONSHIP IS ALWAYS BEING TOGETHER AND NOT GETTING SICK OF EACH OTHER, I HAVE BEEN WITH MY BF FOR 7 YEARS 4 OF THOSE YEARS LIVING TOGETHER AND WE DO THINGS SEPERATE SO WE DON'T GET ON EACH OTHERS NERVE. we go out all the time to our friends house, or yardsaleing there are so many things you can do without money.trust me i need time away from him to appreciate him more when i do come home.

So I am assuming you have a wonderfully hot girlfriend who frequently has sex with you in every way you want?

If not perhaps the original poster is a bit out of your league and expects to be treated well and have sex with emotion.

I know for me I get physcially ill having sex when i am not into it or someone is not treating me well or I feel pressured. Anyone who loves me will do what it takes to keep me emotionaly secure and in return he'll be the happiest man on earth.

I'm not a 'spoiled bitch' I just know I am a good catch and if someone doesn't know that and treat me as such they shouldn't be with me. It goes both ways too. If I don't think enough of someone to make their ego fly through the roof and appreciatte them then they are not the guy for me and I need to let them go.
I just don't know when it became okay for men to expect sex when they're not married and to fit more modren terms- not taking you out, not calling you or giving you attention. It's unreal that so many men wonder why they are unhappy and so many women wonder why they're not being treated well. The answer is because us women allow it to happen.
I like to treat people very well and I expect to be treated well too. Sex has only been an issue in a relationship when it was dead and I should have already up and left. If you treat me like your princess I'll be your whore behind closed doors.

I'll respond more later but you have me all wrong. I didn't say a guy 'has to do whatever to please me' I said he has to do whatever to make me feel emotionaly secure-big difference.

As far as feminism goes I think it has created more work for women, a lot of lost men, heart-broken and lonely kids and has increased the occurance of rape, specifically date rape.
I don't think I am wrong for wanting to be taken care of and have someone treat me well. Especially if I get off on doing the same thing in return.
Smoke a joint hun, you need one.
    I'll respond more later.
    HUGS

All I can really say is that all women aren't like that. I don't expect my BF treats me like a "queen" I just want him to treat me the way I treat him...like I would like everyone in my life too. And yes there are a lot of women out there that expect a man to chop off his balls just to be with them, but not all...that's all I'm trying to tell you.

Hmmm. If my girl doesn't want to have sex, I deal with it. I mean, it is not often to begin with anyways. I figure if it was often, I would question overall sexual chemistry and not blame just her. But, just every so often, she is to tired. I figure it is natural, like our desire to every so often skip a meal or not want to chill with a good friend. you know, things we derive some kind of pleasure from on some plane. sometimes, we just want a break regardless of what it is or what the circumstance may be.

At first, I had a tough time dealing with it, I wanted sex, NOW! But I have found that some of the best sexual experiences I have had were the experiences that came after some waiting. It is nice to sometimes cuddle and watch a movie and hold of sex of one of the partners doesn't want it..than, the next time, it is great, she is into it, I love it, and it is a great bond on every realm.

I guess if it is to common place (no sex), you need to excercise another area of the chemistry that should be great, communication, and communicate your needs, feelings ect. If you can not communicate and make your feelings, at least partially known, well, maybe you need to evaluate things. Because that is a lot of aspects that are not clicking. The last two of which should be given (communication and emotions).

your sig is my favorite song

Seriously though, why can't you let your current girlfriend go and move onto someone who will treat you right? In the mean time being alone is a lot better than being in a bad relationship.
