    Hello Family,
Steve Koblin....a man of love, a man of light
This is Kara Skywolf, from the White Buffalo Farm in Paonia Colorado. I have some news about one of the Angles of the Rainbow. Steve Kublin was an Angel sent from Heaven to help change the vibration of the world. He has returned to the higher, to the universal Mother, the Love of all Loves. Peace be with Steve. I Had the opportunity to love him since Thanksgiving council last year. He came here to the farm in May to help with the gathering 2006. He was there at Thanksgiving council, Spring COuncil, vision council, and clean up. He has been a rainbow for 20 years. For the meek shall inharet the Earth...He walked the rainbow way spreading peace and love. He is wonderful. He was a real Rainbow. Please send you prayers to his mother in Florida and he has a sister and brother too.
If you have an questions or comments please call The White Buffalo Farm...970-527-3041...
Steve Left the farm on the 6th of November going to Thanksgiving Council. By way of Santifa New Mexico... He was thinking of going to Arkansa to help the family there with the 2007 National Rainbow Gathering. He was found 3 days later.

MONTROSE ‹ A Florida couple is mourning the loss of their free-spirited son, whose body was found here last week.

The Montrose County Sheriff's Office and the coroner say Steven N. Kublin was murdered, then dumped and burned here Nov. 9. A cyclist found Kublin's body while traveling along a trail located in adobe-hill terrain off of Landfill Road.

The cause of death has not been made public, but the matter is being treated as a homicide. Authorities are asking the public's help in catching whoever may have been responsible and have set up a hotline for tips.

Kublin, 50, was identified through fingerprints, Montrose County Undersheriff Dick Deines said late Wednesday afternoon. Earlier Wednesday, Montrose County Coroner Mark Young reached Kublin's parents in Florida and notified them of his untimely death.

The victim had last spoken with his parents a few weeks ago, Young said Wednesday. "(They) described him as a free-spirited Rainbow-type person," he said. "His mother was obviously very upset. It (personal information) makes him a person with a soul, not just a body. He had his life taken away by someone with no respect for life."

Young said the family reported Kublin, originally from Andover, Mass., was frequently on the move and had traveled extensively, working at various locations. Kublin had reportedly been through Montrose this summer as well; investigators were trying to determine whether he had a Montrose address or permanent residence.

"...There wasn't a harmful bone in his body," Young said. "He was taken advantage of several times, but he'd start over and move on."

Investigators are pursuing leads related to Kublin's lifestyle.

"We'll have to see where the investigation leads, but anyone who did see or assist him is encouraged to call the tip line," Young said.

He called what happened to Kublin "disturbing," but not necessarily connected to other crimes in the state.

"There seems to be a disturbing trend in this state of homeless and transient people being callously murdered. I don't know if there's been any connection made between them, but it's disturbing. Time will tell whether they're indirectly related," Young said.

"We have a society where people can't, or choose not to live like you and I do and they're taken advantage of and preyed upon."

Immediately after the discovery of Kublin's body, investigators canvassed the area and spoke to several residents in hopes of determining a timeframe. They said previously that it didn't appear as if Kublin's body had been in its resting place for very long.

Attempts to identify the victim turned up Kublin's 1998 driver's license, Deines said, and the photograph from that document has been released in order to assist the investigation. Changes to Kublin's appearance since that time include the loss of his right front tooth and possibly the growth of long dreadlocks and full, heavy beard.

Young said Kublin's family reported he had more gray hair than is shown in the picture and the last time they saw him, he was thinner than he appears on his driver's license.

The comparative lack of knowledge about the victim's local movements is complicating the investigation, Deines said.

"Fewer people know him or would know anything about him. It's going to complicate things. It will make it more difficult, especially with determining motive, figuring out why anybody would've wanted to kill this individual," he said.

Young said it could be some time before the cause of death is made public. He also said detectives need to hear from anyone who saw Kublin or know anything about what happened.

"We're just trying to do what's in the best interests of the investigation," he said.

Though Kublin was found here, Deines said it's not yet been determined where he was actually killed. "That's why we need the citizens' help," he said.

Anyone with information should call the hotline number at 252-4051. Phone lines will be staffed from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Things like this make me wonder if it is too late for hope... Its terrible, All over the place, everytime I pick up a paper, or turn on the news, rapes, kidnappings, murders... And something like that happening so close to home, to one of our own... My love goes out to that brother, and those who are left without him. I just want to take a moment of silence, not only for our brother steve, but to all who suffer from illusion, and those who fall victim.

Keep fighting the good fight, brothers and sisters....

I am so Thankful to have known him

[IMG]Carry him close to you as I have been told he was cleansing, fasting and praying in an Inipi Lodge 2 weeks prior to his death, in preparation for the TGC. I believe that he is helping our Family through these difficult & dark times by being in his purist form, his light body. He is very close, if you see him, just give him your love and he will spread it out over the universe like a blanket .

this is tragic & terrible news. we too heard that Steve was fasting & purifying for TGC; a brother came to Austin in his place and a memorial was set up for Steve. May his beautiful soul travel eternally in peace.

Sounds like he was the victim of a serial killer to me. I noticed how they had yet to "make any connection" from this killing to the other implied killings in the area. I hope they find the perp ASAP. So sorry Steve.

Just talked with a Colorado cop to see how their case was going --, they have DNA of the killer-- fuck yeah, go Steve, you strong and beautiful man got a piece of the guy-- so if the guy ever turns up for anything else he's toast. If anyone meets a creep on the road picking up your hitching self I say grab a hair sample and send it to Colorado.

I met steve once. I couldn't stop talking about him ,because I had never met anyone like him. I was telling my husband about this guy I met ,that I connected with and talked to about different herbs .I told him he had to meet him. He was something special. He was someone with a great connection to something else.Something I couldn't understand,I felt like he knew things I could never know. I wish my husband could have met him and so does he.I couldn't and can't describe the energy he had pouring from his soul. I met him a couple days before someone removed him from this place. I have been thinking about him from the moment I met him . I really can't believe someone would do that to him . The person who did this must have no heart and no sense of good. I hope this person is found,so they can't hurt any more steve's,not that there are many left.
I barely new you steve, but our souls were not strangers.Hope to see you in the next one

My name is Ron Kublin. Steven Kublin was my brother. On behalf of Steve's family, I want to thank all of you for your kind words over these months.

Thank you for remembering him. Thank you for the pictures. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive.

All my life, as far back as I can remember, Steve was different. Often misunderstood by those living a more (please forgive me here) "traditional" lifestyle, Steven had much difficulty as a young man. As his relationship with the earth, the woods, the sky, the sun, the ocean and like-minded people grew closer, his relationship to some of us grew more distant.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my brother and am haunted that such a gentle man left this world a victim of the violence he and my entire family find so abhorent. But our grief is lessened with the knowledge that there were those who loved him as much as we did and walked alongside him as he trudged the road of happy destiny.

    Thank you all.

It's terrible that he had to leave the earth this way but it sounds like he was a really strong, good spirit, and those are the type that shoot straight to the heart of God when they pass. I wish I could have known him, and I'm sure everyones memories of him are reminding him how important he was to everyone,

    rest in peace steve
