The government makes massive amounts of money off of their involvement in the illegal drug trade. This is common knowledge. Marijuana doesn't factor into this since there is much less money to be made with marijuana. Also, the fact that most marijuana in the US is home grown rather than imported. The money the US makes in their involvement in the drug trade is primarily in cocaine and heroin trafficking. This is a proven fact.
I'm not saying this in a sarcastic, or intentionally offensive kind of way, but can you provide me with some of this proof? It would be interesting.

Your friend is basically correct, though as Rat said, it is mostly heroine and cocaine that they make their money off of. CIA/MI6 is the biggest drug trafficker in the world.
truth...and the drug trade is responsible for alot of the wars this country has been involved in. afganistan, and the contra i can say for certin, others i can assume. its suprising how the retired vets open up after a beer and an exchange of pleasantries. this shit is weighing on alot of thier minds, releasing it helps i guess.
I'm sure they do. It's all coordinated by the same people. most of the drug running in Canada is done by the Hell's Angels, which has ties to intelligence agencies.
