Supposedly high-waisted jeans are coming back now.

Still pretty gross, if you ask me.

I fear you are right :( . I have to sew my own trousers now, because all shops are full of those terrible 80s pants..

Do you make your own flares? I can't find any and I have just started sewing - if I could make flares I would be ecstatic! The last time I found any that I liked was about 3 years ago and I bought 2 pairs, which are now threadbare. Do you have a pattern you use for your trousers? [IMG]

i love love love HUGE bells.... I don't really like flares but I love the bellbottoms that cover my shoes =) havent seen any around since mid-highschool................. I don't like em wide leg like Jncos, but ones that fit tight at the top and bell out hugely under the knee..................................

im the same way. i always complain that my jeans are too short and everyone thinks im crazy! I like to be tripping over them :)

ps. for the o/p.........you have to try thrifting for pants, not only will jeans NOT cost you over $80, they have loads & loads of bells.

I have one pair that covers my complete foot, and I wear them sooo much, their full of holes and fraying all over, but i love them =]. Their cuter the way they are now than before i bought them. I've put patches all over them and their just amazing.

I recently started to make my own bell bottoms, I cut them up the sides, and then buy some cute fabric and cut out a triangle, and sew it into the jeans, which makes GREAT bells. People are always asking where I found them, and they can't believe it when I tell them that i made them. Their very cute =].

But anyways, I could care less whether their "back in style", their just my taste, and they'll always be in style for me. =]
