do you have any songs that you use for "therapy" - I mean to get over angry or sad feelings, or to feel happier?

For me, it doesn't really matter too much. Just listening to music in general, and being dorky by playing air guitar :) , always makes me feel better.

When I'm really feeling happy but want to experience the bottomless pit of depression, I listen to Carly Simon's That's The Way I've Always Heard It Should Be, perhaps the most depressing song ever written :)

If I'm derpressed I listen to Starless by King Crimson, it makes me laugh. Don't know why, it must be like the most depressing song ever

Whenever I hear Alannah Myles singing Black Velvet, I get the distinct impression she's singing about me, that she prefers dark meat over light, that she takes her men, like she takes her coffee - black :H

i've been getting into some ambient/electronic type music for relaxation. not exactly like brian enos "music for airports" to an extend, but stuff like "boards of canada" and "aphex twin" have some really good relaxation like songs. either that or some jazz
