The most known Cult in history carried out these crazy ass murders under the banner "Helter Skelter" Fucked this song's chance. George Harrison of the Beatles wrote it too. yeah Goerge didnt write Helter Skelter. Paul wrote it trying to outdo The Who when he heard a radio prsenter saying that The Who had written the heaviest song of all time. yeah man its a friggin awesome song. awesome album too!.. Sometimes John wrote osngs in the style of Pual and Vice Versa and Goerge joined in and its real confusing. Helter Skelter is one of those ones where its pretty hard to tell who wrote it...i guess the only give away is that Paul Sings it... like the song "goodnight" it sounds so much like a paul song but john wrote it!
and paul wrote helter skelter in response to an interview by pete townshend about what he thought was the heaviest song ever recorded that the who had done, so paul wanted to outdo the who. so he wrote helter skelter.
