This summer a family friend of mine is throwing a festival in Oregon....New Monsoon and ALO are the headliners and I am going to be on the sound team! i am so excited to do this and it will look great on resumes.....finally i wll start to work in the jam world! the extreme bulk of my live sound and studio ventures have all sadly been ''pop'' related. so this will be a wonderful departure......

Thats pretty cool! I just did some sound stuff for a Darr Williams concert - it was fun but I don't really like the music.

    congrats, Brother.
Make friends with NM's Nate (sound guy... he might want to work with you of give you a break). My Sweetie and I started the ball rolling for him to get that gig.
We knew he had the chops and was ready to travel. We just needed a band we knew would not bore him!

i'm really looking foward to this. i was asked to run the whole stage, but with my complete lack of experience (as i am a sound guy, not a stage manager) i had to turn that down. i told him he needed to definatley find someone qualafied for that......i just want to be on the sound team. be involved with New Monsoon and ALO......fuck i could care if i was just a stage hand......just to finnaly be apart of something that is not top 40 rock.....it will be a pleasure.

    ANOTHER GOOD GIG!

I am on the sound team for a "CATS" production in Chilliwack, BC...this Wednesday and Thursday....good money too, which isn't bad.....this will also be a wonderful departure from rock shows, to do theatre will be a great pleasure....i actually was a drama student, before music, and before audio....now i'm mostly audio and music sometimes......
