Wow. this movie was visually stunning. the cinematography breaks new ground. the characters are strong and the battles are beautiful. i was pleased. just a little to close to the screen, damn my eyes hurt.

 

i loved this movie. got to see it on a huge screen. probably the most visually stunning i have seen on the big screen ever. great stuff.

 

I saw it in the imax and thought it was really wicked there. I don't know if i would have liked it as much in the smaller theater. It was like Lotr if you took out all the plot and just left the battles. But it was pretty cool, and man those spartans are like samurais on steroids. O_O. It was totally comic book cheesey which as an avid comic book fan enjoyed, and i enjoyed the little witty comments by everyone too. And that queen was badass and all them sexy ladies.

 

Not at all, if anything it was more like Bush was Xerxes (that bad guy) and tiny little Iran was the spartans. Thats all i got from it, but other than that no real political overtones. It was just cool movieness

God damnit, its just an action packed movie that entertains people. Besides, its about guys thousands of years ago that fought for something nothing related with us today. Respectfully I think that the Iranians that said that are really bored...

About the movie I think that it was one of the best that ive ever seen in my life, loved it.

 

it was a fantastic film i just saw it 2day and loved it and what someone sed about remiding them of lotr i totaly get where they are coming from and the guys that had the witty banter throughout reminded me of legolas and Gimli from lotr!! great batte scene too!

It was a very well done movie, but when you're a history buff and know what actually happened with everything around it, it can irk you a bit

 

yer went with a friend who was a bit like that but u've just got to take it for what it is a great film to entertain rarther then a history lesson but i can understand where u are coming form.

c'mon, it was based on a comic book, not on history facts.

Just saw it in the theater today was asome i told my dad that its like the lord of the rings without bullshit

 

Had a good laugh watching that film tonight.

 

I went and saw it in theaters and i thought it was going to be so stupid but, i actually enjoyed it and i will most likely get the dvd.
