I had plenty of people telling me I should rubber band the tips to round them out but I kept my curly cue tips and I'm glad.... urs look awesome

I tried rounding some of mine over the weekend & decided I like them much more curly-ish & loose.

 

They look much more natural. Love 'em!

yea i tried this too, at first i had a crop of afros on every dread, but then i kinida rolled them out now and....well...DAMN i look good, love yours, tey do look better!

I always think dreads look better when tied up, if the tips are loose. It all seems to hang in a more artistic looking way, if you know what I mean.
I didn't think you could improve on yours, they're so nice, but its great!

hey worldpeace, when i did it, i didnt get full tapering, but today i decided to go all the way....its pretty tough, did you do anything special before combing?

I just made them wet and combed with a fleecomb and used wax after because the hair was so dry.

 

i can already tell this is going to be a looong painful journey thank youu
