Purchase The Piper at the Gates of Dawn as soon as you can. You haven't heard Pink Floyd until you've heard the original.

I agree that Pink Floyd is great, but I think Radiohead has more psychedelic sounds. That has nothing to do with Pink Floyd, it's just that the electronic music is much more developed nowadays, so you can get more psychedelic sounds.
I would say that my favourite is Radiohead - Backdrifts. It has this very weird sound which sounds like nothing at first but there is actually a rhythm in it, and a change of chords... And it has quite a bass that never stops, it's one sound... so when you listen to it with headphones you hear this very trippy sound, and because of the very low bass you feel your ears buzzing... feels like your headphones just slide into your ears or something... man... amazing. But the part where you hear the guitars scream in Echoes by PF is also unbelievable.

Yeah, I'd suggest the same. Not psychadelic but a good company too, The Division Bell. Listen to it, I found that album to be a great company.

I think Radiohead...especially later Radiohead like Treefingers ect...is more trippy then original Floyd. I mean we don't have to put everyone from the '60's on this unatainable pedastal of musical talent that can't be reached. Yeah, Floyd is fucking amazing, classic, and timeless. But classic doesn't always mean better in everything, man. Good music is good music no matter who does it or when. No matter how much we think they didn't, the 60's and 70's still had it trendy pop music and it isn't classic becaus that's dated stuff that lasts the whole couple weeks it was popular for. People who follow trends will always come and go. Pat Benatar is probably pretty close to Ashlee Simpson, playing music for money with pretty good musicians backing her up. I think Ashlee Simpson puts outs some decent music, not my favorite stuff, but just because it's pop doesn't mean it's bad.

True, man! Just listen to whatever you want, dude. Music is beautiful, why should we discuss about «who's better?» :)
