I couldn't decide, after watching this on Washington Journal on C-SPAN if it was worse that she'd even make a statement, or that the crowd had simply reacted in a jovial kind of way. I don't recall any real groans from the broadcast I'd seen.


Either way... This is totally a two-way street. The underyling prejudice of a derogatory comment vs. wishing death and the like on specified people... Mud slinging is, and always will be, a significant part of the political arena.

 

She’s well read, well educated, an eloquent speaker & debater, she has a certain charisma and can be very persuasive toward those who are easily misled. Unfortunately she’s also misguided and demented. She’s a female Adolph Hitler.

Didn't Ann Coulter try to wage war on the Harry Potter books, as well? John Edwards does have a little Freddie Mercury going on, if you do ask me. Ever see how he & John Kerry were always so affectionate? Wow, 2004? That seems like forever and a year ago. But nevertheless, John Edwards should be good for liberalism. Let's just hope his private life doesn't get the better of him. Kerry marrying the heiress to the ketchup fortune... sounds like a cop-out to me. At least Edwards married a normal woman, as far as I know. I really haven't skimmed any of this stuff up yet. Ah, procrastination.
