i was barefoot for about 7 or 8 months and my feet stayed pretty much black on the bottom, but after a year or so theyre back to normal
my feet have a bit of residual dirty always, even after a shower. my problem i believe stems for the fact that i live in the city, thus the majority of my barefooting occurs on urban surfaces.
I scrub my feet with a nailbrush and soap and only rarely does anything not come off easily that way. If for whatever reason I don't have a nailbrush handy then yes, they remain stained but brushing them the dirt comes off in seconds, no matter where I've been.
Sure do! Lol. My mum gets mad all the time at me for it, because she thinks it's just dirt. (Well, it `prolly is, but it's not coming off!) |'ll finish a shower, and she'll be like, "Lemme' see your feet!" So |'ll show her, & she'll say I don't wash proporly enough. I just shrug and walk off.
As I posted in this thread, "The skin on the bottom of your feet is constantly being replaced, so permanent stains are unlikely. I've found with a good, stiff brush and lots of "elbow grease", even the worst of stains will come clean fairly easily." If you're constantly subjecting your feet to surfaces which stain, such as asphalt, you'll just be staining the new skin as it surfaces, so the stain will apparently be permanent. Once you stop subjecting your feet to the staining agent, their color will change. I'm very fortunate to live in a very clean environment. Although I never wear shoes, my soles retain the same color as the rest of my feet. Nothing cleans like white beach sand and I get a few miles of that every day...
I knoticed that some times even after a shower my feet still had some black on them but I walked a mile in the rain the other day and stuck to the paved road both ways (with isn't very smooth) by the time I got home my feet were so clean must be from the rough asphalt and the water cause they were pritty black when I left my house
