Okay, how the hell do you....

    1. Not get so many
    2. Make them not itch
    3. Get the mosquitos to not show up in the first place

Any info would be greatly appreciated

    Peace Love Life

    1. DEET!
    2. hydrocortisone 1%, Benadryl by mouth
    3. Get rid of standing water, spray yard with a permethrin solution (do not get permethrin on flowers, or in bodies of water. It is toxic to bees and fish.)

However, if you prefer a more natural, safe for your body solution...
    1. Eat lots of garlic (I don't know why, but it works...for ticks too!)
    2. Use Witch Hazel (you can buy it at any store) and wipe down your bug bites with it, it also works to clean minor cuts and scrapes.
    3. I agree with the standing water bit, just dump out anything that catches water.

i read that it makes your skin give out some kind of a substance that mosquitos don't like :H But you have to eat it like for months, day by day for the skin to start giving out the thing. It's not a nights or even a weeks project. I'm working on it right now :D

As to the standing water thing, if you have a birdbath or gazing pool or some such thing you don't need to keep it empty, just empty it out and refill it a few times a week. The mosquito life cycle doesn't just happen over night it takes a few days to a week.

Its the ammonia in your urine that does it. You could just dab a tiny bit of ammonia on the bite, or buy a product called After Bite.

Avon's Skin-So-Soft moisturizer seems to keep tiny no-see-um pests at bay. Ammonia will take the itch out of mosquito bites.

i earn taking more vitamin b tends to make you less tasty. wont make them stop biting you, but reduce the rate at which they bite you
    itch less - calamine lotion

One of the main attractants that mosquito's are attracted to is the CO2 (carbon dioxide) that a person exhales. If you wear two or more layers of clothes, they usually can't bite through them.

I make a mixture using 4oz. of Jojoba oil, 30 drops of Citronella, Pennyroyal and Eucalyptus, 20 drops of Lemongrass and Lavender and 10 drops of Clove essential oils in a glass spray bottle. If you have a pond or birdbaths try adding some cornstarch to the water, it messes with mosquito larvae but it won't hurt other creatures and it's biodegradable.

I dunno about the others, but on number 2 you can apply rubbing alcohol to the bite.
I'm not sure if it's just a psychological thing or if it really works, but it seems to do some thing.
