I plan on coming out to my parents this spring break(takes a bow). I am a little scared though. What happens if they don't believe me or say I'm too young to know? Also there are many other fears I can't think of at the moment. Help a young man out plz.
i'd love to help you out boy, but i haven't come out to my parents yet. they can;t tell you whether you're gay or not, you're the only one who knows that. it may take awhile for them to accept it, but you're their son and they should love ya no matter what
I agree with l-foote. If they say you're too young to know, it's because they're not ready for you to know. Trust me, I thought about all the pros and cons about coming out before I told my parents, and one day, I just did it. My parents are really accepting. I have no idea what your parents are like, so I can't really speak to how they might react. You're really the only person who does.
I told my mom first, and then she talked to my dad, though I wanted to tell him myself. Everything went fine though. I don't feel like it would have been much different telling them both at once. But I dunno, that's just my parents.
