When Bobby Darin was recording Mac The Knife he was having a hard time getting that, “eeek” part right. So I was hired to give him a goose on Q. Cheers and happy Saint Patrick’s day!

    Lol!That is good to know.[IMG]
I recently watched a Bobby Darin b & w t.v. performance on 'The Ed Sullivan Show' from 1959 singing "Mack The Knife" & I notice the "eek" wasn't what it ought to be.

Hello! Bobby Darien once told me that after his performance on the 1959 Ed Sullivan Show he began to question his musical talents. And began considering that he might be better off if he moved to France and became a professional Mime. He also told me many times that he was grateful that he could count on me to give him that extra push when needed.

This might be a little off topic but I also worked with Michael Jackson to help him reach some of the high notes. Unfortunately we had a bitter labor dispute when he fired me and replaced me with his pet monkey. Cheers!
