can preggies have sex during the last trimester?

i'm wondering....

can preggies have sex during the last trimester even when they feel dilated or fake contraction?

when do you expect to stop having sex when you feel that it is about time?

is oral sex and normal intercourse safe for preggies on the last trimester?

I had sex all throughout both my pregnancies, there is no reason to stop having sex, unless you have been told by you doctor not to, you can have sex right up to your waters breaking, but not after because once your waters break your babies germ barrier is no longer intact, so as long as you are comfortable and want to, enjoy!

 

is up to you, if you are comfy with it go for it!! can be good for you =) it is a good workout and all!!

I'm almost a week overdue, and am still having sex lots. Hoping it will get labor on its way as Ive heard it's supposed to.. no luck yet, but I'm still ejoying myself.

 

really? what is the best positions you could get in order to gain orgasm? i find that hard to believe.

As long as the doctors says it's fine.. but if you are over-due I would suggest having sex.. the horomones you put off help induce labor, and well you also might as well get sex in while you can before you have to wait 6 weeks!

 

With my first pregnancy, we had sex right up until dd was born. It was actually getting into the position to have sex that was the tough part. I was so big it was damn near impossible to do most of the time...and really uncomfortable, lol

 

Yeah, getting into a confortable position is pretty tough, but it can be done. I usually like to be on top, or laying towards the edge of the bed with him on his knees on the floor. We use a lot more foreplay now to get me to orgasm bc being in a position for actual intercourse for too long can be very uncomfortable bc I'm so huge. lol. It's actually been sort of exciting to try to find new ways to enjoy sex over the months...

and thanks it is my first, a boy. I am very excited.. I'm so sick of being pregnant at this point. lol. only a few more days to go though I hope...

funny story... I thought my water broke a few weeks ago while we were having sex, and after a huge ordeal and going to the hospital and everything it turned out not to be. it was pretty embarassing to have to explain to 10 different doctors/nurses what had happened. I guess they don't talk to each other... and everytime someone new came into the room I had to repreat the story in detail...

This is a little bit off topic, but right before I went into labour with my daughter, my hubby hit himself in the nads with a hammer at work (he was building trusses, and he missed). At the hospital, he had to re-explain the whole thing to a bunch of people...and had to pull down his pants more than he wanted to. When the doc came to his bed and grabbed his chart before walking behind the curtain to see my hubby, cody could hear him giggling about what happened.
Needless to say, it was good timing...it was about 2 weeks before I went into labour, I didn't really want to have sex anyway, the doc put him on a 2 month sex break and I needed to wait that long after Leane was born to have sex anyway.
Our first time after all this though was a little bit painful for both of us, lol
