Psh, you should come here more when you have nothing to whine about. Nobody really whines here anyway, unless they're like... random newbies or something, generally.

To be honest, I think it'd be more like the "holy shit, wtf?! forum"... or the apathy forum.

It's become what like... that dude in Half Baked who kept going "Have you seen a $20 bill... on weed?!?!?!!" was doing, you know.

Haha yea I know... it's just that this forum has become so quiet. :( It makes me sad and it also makes me miss what it was like back in the day when I was like... 15 or so. But enough of nostalgia...

How ya doing anyway, Georgiepoo? :D

It's only quiet if you don't speak, but I'll go down with the ship, if it's the last of me.

I'm totally uh... well/content/fine, leaning towards the depressive side... I know I can dwell on things too much.

It's weird, you know, because I remember when I had an elementary school counselor and she would make us draw a line and we'd have to express ourselves by color and how we moved the line (as in zig zaggedly, looped... red.... blue, green, etc.)

I always picked up a crayon every time and drew a wobblish yellow line, because I was never really sure. Then a few years later, when I was volunteering for my old school, she told me I was a mellow guy and we just shared some memories, then she took me out to lunch... bizarre. She just randomly ran into me and yanked me away from my duties.

    How're you/anyone else?

Personally, I'm worried about school tomorrow, drama co-op, moreso. We're having a professional actor come in and help us with scenework, and according to all the people who experienced him last year, all he does is cut you up and humilate you, and doesn't really help with scenework... Anyhow, I take everything personally, so I'm rather frightened...

I am now also quite positive the sole reason behind my recent anger problems is my mom's boyfriend. I guess I just started hating him again...

    Whatev...

:( I will join you in this hating... because I'm not in North Carolina right now. I don't know... North Carolina has always been one of my happy places.

And for some reason, nothing can ruin that. I've never really had any problems in North Carolina.

It was mid 70s today, here, but still... I have to put up with all the Long Island snowbirds on their way back up the coast or some oddity like that. There was nowhere to park today and I saw like "Jersey... hampshire... jersey... hampshire.. hampshire". How so?... I haven't a clue. They're alright, unless you get the country club types.

I guess tourist season is starting early this year.

Yeah, one of the reasons I put all of that behind me. Unfortunately, people don't seem to realize how much you can do without government assistance (not aidwise)...

Also, I've known a few millionaires in my short time that went through the same thing I am. I'd rather just go to a community college or something, you know, just for an interim thing, then have the option to transfer out. Plus, people are always changing minds, dropping something, switching out, etc. I figure it's easy to just get that over with now, have some fun for about a year or two, and then be ready to take on whatever it is I'm set on.

Right now, I feel retired. I've been working with my 61 year old neighbor, restoring/rebuilding fences at historical sites and things... since he's semi-retired, used to be a park ranger, and worked for the forestry department. :D I've thought about taking that path before, but I don't like the law enforcement portion. I'd rather do preservation efforts and such.

Yeah, I love that sort of thing. :D Though, I have a stronger memory for history, law, and navigation of sorts/locating shit.

I was doing landscaping and such last year, but I haven't been doing so much of that now, though I suppose I will this year. I'm waiting for a job to start in April, so right now I'm just doing little things here and there/working with my neighbor every now and then.

Holy shit. :D I forgot about the sun chemicals.

I always have the feeling that there are disgruntled sun chemicals... you know, the kind that make you pissed off after being in the sun for too long. :D

But it seems like the happy sun chemicals tend to stay near beaches. I friggin miss EI. I've been thinking about camping down there in August or September. I always love how they have those permanent RV parks. I've never really seen that anywhere else but that part of the OBX... Though, I do know a guy in Hatteras who has a gas station and a handful of RVs on lots behind the station, that he rents out. I have this attachment to RVs, but they can be so annoying and overblown. I prefer the shitty old ones, airstreams, or just a trailered one, for that matter. I lived in a 70s-80s Shasta, on our farm, which is why I'm like "OMgGGOM!1" when ever they are mentioned.

Last time I was in EI, I filled a hole in the sand with ice, because the cooler was in the car trunk and I had no idea where anyone was. I have the sudden urge to drink Muscadine and walk to Bogue pier.

Fuck you James Tayor. :( :(

I have almost always something to whine about. However, I don't like to whine, especially not on the internet. Every now and then even I can't hold myself though...

Well, as it turns out, I DO have something to whine about today. :D

I've spent most of the day working on my dissertation which basically means sitting in front of the computer thinking and typing. And now my shoulders and back HURT. I want a massage... mmmmmmm...
