I shave legs and pits and, um, most everything else, though not quite. No make up though, and bare minimal eye brow shaping. Just lazy, damnit. But I make a small effort.
well, i certainly don't shave for men. if i was with one that liked body hair that would also be too bad, i wouldn't grow it. body hair is a choice...i don't think that people should be uniform- our personalities aren't!
I prefer a shaved woman but at the same time it is there bodies and they can do as they please. Shaved seems to be the way now days though and I think most women understand how much more sanitary it is to do so.
i don't shave my pits, but i do shave my legs - the "leg-beard" look just isn't a good one for me personally
I find women that don't shave attractive. Then again, I've always had an affinity towards somewhat ragged looks...
I shave just about everything. I feel better personally when I do it. (And I'm single, so I have no ulterior motives for doing so....no man to tell me he likes it better one way or the other) I really could care less what other people do. Do what makes you happy and I'll do what makes me happy and we'll all get along just fine
i dont shave! i like the way my hair looks. its really very thick and dark everyone i know shaves and thinks its gross that i dont. silly people. i think it looks really nice on women. and i dont see what makes it "masculine". isnt that just the opinion of western mainstream society? oh well, think what you like, im pretty and not masculine, despite being hairier than some men i know hehe
I'm a guy + I both totally agree with your stance on female body hair-it's not masculine on a woman + is distinctly sexy + I admire your stance in not giving in to the mass perception of how women are "supposed" to look. To me you're a real natural woman + not an airbrushed mannequin-cool!
wow, thanks aeshna5! ive never had anyone say anything like that to me lol all i ever get are negative comments *hug*
Everyone should understand that women have hair folicles everywhere that men do. Hormones repress heavy beards on most women. But the western ideal that says women should be hairless is just another repressive move to force them into an ideal that isn't realistic. If it's unhygenic for women to have pit or leg hair it should be the same for men also.
i shave. i'm obsessive compulsive and will often wake up in the middle of the night to go shave. i can't stand the feeling. i used to shave my eyebrows, but got over that. i don't think it's weird when other people don't, though. it's all about my body.
