no age limit. age doesn't correspond with maturity, and it's really the immature persons that (people who want a higher age limit) usually want blocked. it's hard.
having a kid, I'd say like 12 man only roughly speaking I would have just have to know they had common sense really peace
most people who are olny 16 say there 21+ i like as it is now cause even if you are younger they will lie to make them look cooler and will keep them more confurtable. + if we put a higher limit i could not stay
I voted for "leave it as it is." I think thirteen's a good limit. People would just lie anyway if the age limit was raised.
I voted for 16. I think that is a "descent" age for public forums. I know little kids have thoughts too, but I just hate it when I see 13 yr olds talkin about sex and drugs.
Hmm..I say no age limit. But it seems a lot of people disagree, I've noticed that whenever a 16 year old and younger makes a post, everyone just always reply's to them by saying "well your still young, you have time to grow and change your decision" or something like that. No one ever takes them seriously. Shame people have to be like that.
Transamrocker You hate it when 13 yr olds talk about sex?? I heard 8 year olds laughing about having a shag!!! I think the age limit should be removed and put some warnings up etc instead of saying you can't go in there. If you don't expect or let teens be mature then why should they? They'll be as imature as you expect. I voted get rid of it.
My opinion would probaly be no age limit cause some kids like this lifestyle or diffrent lifestyles then try to encorage them.
no age limits why take away people's freedom to express themselves? some r more mature than others age does not matter
the only reason anything on line needs to have age limits for is to stay out of trouble with assinign laws. and these are not something sysops/admin of online forums have at their discrescion. i think if there were no age limit laws, no legally enshrined age apparthied, THEN i would oppose any age limits on any online forum. but as long as those laws exist, i'm not going to bitch about anyone not wanting to risk putting themselves in the law's harm's way. and i do think such laws do more harm then good, (and seriously NEED to be repealed!) though yes, i do respect what mother jones went thorough to bring an end to economic exploitation of the very young in the u.s. (and find it reprehensible that u.s. and international economic intrests exploit the lack of such protections in less fortunate countries). freedom of online speach is an ideal, devoutly to be wished, but at this present juncture it is unfortunately in reality, far from entirely lawfull. the laws it is against are a moral outrage, but a reality that they exist. =^^= .../\...
Doesn't putting an age limit on posting here totally contradict everything this forum is trying to promote?
