Any comments on using this light bulb from ikea? I know how much everyone hates these enegy saving bulbs but im not investing, nor have the space at this time to go pro. Im just merely growing a plant on the side with the basic needs. so heres the link: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15579&catalogId=10103&storeId=8&productId=60957&langId=-21&categoryId=16294&chosenPartNumber=20085404

Its 150W/230V (dont know how much watt that really is, somewhere else it described that 100W bulbs actually are only 18 W)

Otherwise ill be resorting to the regular energy saving bulbs like these

I really cannot comment on the IKEA bulb but the latter cfls I do like. Lumens per watt, heat, spectrum all work well.

Halogen lights wont work very well at all. You would be better off using the compact flourescents (cfls) in the first place. Just be sure you get the right spectrums - "blueish" for vegging and "redish" for flowering.

I have used cfls before and they work well for veg but it takes a lot longer and when flowering u need HID.
