What are your Summer plans? How many of you will be on HF punching away at the keys? If not, where will you be and what will you be doing?
Lots of time outdoors, vacations, day trips, you know, those kind of fun things. I can hardly wait for summer. It will be so nice to have my oldest son home from school too. He's going into 2nd grade next fall! Agghhh! Man does time fly!
I'm going to Philadelphia. I cannot fucking wait, dammit. That's like the only thing I'm looking forward to.
i'll be outside...i'll still post...but not as nearly as much as i do now... traveling, wedding to go to, poeple to meet...chilling with friends...being a beach bum
Festivals, surfing, eating ice cream, swimming, lying on the beach, drinking strawberry margaritas... ...aaaaand leaving this country to go travelling, wohooh.
Hopefully working in Canada, but ahh... who knows. I'm not sure what I'll be doing tomorrow (even though I can make a logical guess: Nothing), but the summer...so far away man, so faaaaar away.
I will be going to Reno, Nevada for my daughters week long volleyball tournament. (will be the last for a long ol' time). We will probably go camping, to the beach, just hang out. .
Hopefuly I will be doing some traveling this summer. If I send in my deposit to work at Bonnaroo, I'll be doing that. Then, I will be going to the Rainbow Gathering immediately after that. HOpefully I will travel some more, but I'm also trying to get organized and get a job set up so I can move out to California in August...so we shall see
Well I'm graduating with an Associates Degree in May, so hopefully I'll be able to make enough dough to do everything that I want to do. I need to fix my truck, and hopefuly enter into a few car shows. I plan on going to Goodstock, and would love to go to Bonaroo but I don't think I'll be able to get ahold of the money in time. I really want to check out a couple Rainbow Gatherings as well. I'll also be out on the lake as much as possible because I love wakeboarding/skiing/cliffdiving/ect. And I'm up for anything else that comes my way, so hopefuly this will be an eventful summer.
I'm moving back to Philadelphia in April... gonna hopefully find a job by the end of May ish. Then I'm going to Bonnaroo in June, an undetermined festival/event in July, probably the Philly Folk Festival in August, and various weekends here and there throughout the summer. Depending how things go I may be going on the road with my lady in the fall, if I can convince her we're ready (and if we're actually ready) to make that jump by then
A couple of weeks on Martha’s Vineyard Isl., and a lot of hiking up in the White Mountain National Forest (which basically means I’m going to be on the nightly menu of a variety of insects including the common mosquito and black fly) :leaving: Hotwater
I made a list today (unrelated to this thread) of the things I want to do this summer (that are probable)... So here it is..... Take picnics in the park and play frisbee Go to outdoor concerts Amusement park Camp at the beach Camp in the mountains Play mini golf (haha some of this list is silly) Go to inner harbor and Fells Point Go to South Street Lighthouse and restaurants in NE MD Ride my bike Go hiking Go swimming Trip to Toronto
hide inside where there's air conditioning. unless i could somehow move waaay up into my hills. even then i probably spend most of it in the shade somewhere. on the computer. like i do every other season of the year. spring is wonderful but summer is a real pisser!
