I'm looking for someone to write some lyrics for me. I've tried but just can't seem to get anything down that I much like. I have the musical idea pretty well done. The theme would be about questioning friendship. when a friend "X" reaches out and the friend "Y" doesn't respond. did friend "Y" know "X" was reaching out? why didn't they respond? does time destroy friendships? are friendships now forever. then the ponderance that maybe its a temporal thing. i don't know. also friend X is male, friend Y female both heteros. i would certainly give lyric credit wherever i post the tune. like you can post it if you want, wherever you want. i'd put on my myspace, maybe youtube if i can get my video skills up to par... cheers, keep on keepin' on.
I wouldn't mind, but I really can't write to order. That's some pretty specific guidelines. Why that?
I can get an mp3, sure.. maybe with some of my initial lyrics and vocal melody, you can integrate or toss the words. but that's a good idea.. that way hopefully i can send out the vibe and you have the background as much or little of it you can say would be great.. if you want the 'why that' part, i just posted from experience in the thread " Hip Forums > Mind Trips > True Confessions > Should I do it??" I'm just trying to offer advice to this person here, but my last post ties in with this...

If you have the music, it would be easier for me to write to your melody. Or, I can develop a melody from the music.
