How long did it take your parents to find out?

how long was it before your parents found out or caught you smoking, for me it was about 6 months. what about you? (sorry if this is stupid)

 

My parents force me to smoke.

but it only took a few months before i met some narcs

 

it took about 5 months for the suspicions to start.. 7 months when they found a fat sack in my room.. a year when i got arrested for possession.. and a week from now court! yay

Well, I started smoking pot at like 9 or 10, but didn't smoke a whole lot until a few yrs later. It took my parents about three years to catch on. They ALMOST figured it out once when I was eleven. I smoked a joint an older kid gave me and thought nothing of it leaving an odor, left my bedroom door open for about ten minutes to get something to eat, and before I knew it the whole house smelled like pot. The next day they asked me if my sister was smoking pot (they figured it was her because she got into a lot of trouble at that time, and got caught by them once or twice)

Yeah somewhat. Got it from my aforementioned older sister and some high schoolers I used to hang out with (to look cool in front of the little kids obviously).

 

I started smokin a few months before my 16th birthday, I think, and my mom didn't find out for a couple of years when I was 18 and got kicked out of school for coming to class after smoking two joints by myself with about 2.5g in each of them.....and also for having a knife. That was the first time my mom knew anything about it.

 

I got caught after just one month . Wait.... no.... after a month I was all "Hey, Mom, I smoke pot!" and she was all "Okay, don't get caught."

it took my parents five years and that was only because I wanted to smoke with them. g

 

about 1.5 years till my mom caught on.

 

four and a half years, and then they found my pipe in my coat pocket

 

A little over 5 years of smoking. They only caught me because I got ratted out for pills by a "friend." Whatever i'm still graduating college in Decemeber, a homeowner, and having the time of my life.

 

10 months, smelled it on me when I came home. I was too stubborn to go straight to my room, instead I went straight to the fridge.. -.-
