I've been searching for a commune for what seems like years now, I'm just wondering what all communes are out there. If you 'run' a commune I'd love to hear about it, maybe even see some pictures. I have alot to contrubute to a community and I'd love to help...
yeah, me too - haven't searched the entire internet, but just enough to be frustrated from not finding anything - it seems like if there were sucha thing, for those of us who are online etc - mebbe they'd have a website or somn - anyways, let's start one - nice warm blue state - solar panels - who's with me !!!!!
We're in the process of starting a community called Echowood based on cooperation, environmental responsibility, social growth and having fun. We will have an organic farm, crafts, a pond, and a small forest. We're closing on the land in a week: 24 acres about 40 miles from Austin Texas. I too am looking and I am only finding religion based communities and thats not me. If anyone finds a friendly, caring and sharing community let me know. I am seriously interested.
Hello, I believe Acorn community in Virginia is accepting only females at the moment to balance the genders there. I checked it out, it seems a nice place. Happy hunting...peace.
