There's definitely a life on other planets. Are they gonna come to Earth and enslave us? Probably not. Hopefully they've got some space weed though (a nod to trailer park boys).

You can logically say that there is life somewhere out there, but if you're talking about those hill billies who claim to have been abducted, that's all bollocks.

When a planet is destroyed, think of all the mini life forms that travel throughout space and time till they land/hit another piece of land mass.

There are so many solar sytems in the galaxy, it would be naive of us to believe we are the only life forms in existence.

In addition to what people have said earlier, we're not even more than a few steps ahead of anything else on Earth anyway. It took billions of years of evolution for us to develop opposable thumbs, and it only took a tiny fraction of that for us to figure out how to use them to make rockets to send to the moon.
Illustrating just how relatively similar we are to everything else (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtmLVP0HvDg) is this bird doing something most people think is limited to people and apes. Crows are hella smart (I remember saying that... shit, I probably already posted this, but whatever).

and that's even an understatement. I guess I'm just taking another opportunity to spread the joy that is Cosmos, but this is a short clip showing Carl Sagan's version of the cosmic calandar. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2qezQzfgIY)

I believe a 'god' and aliens could very well exist both.

what are the odds of earth, an ecosystem that allows life being created. its like all those who think that there "must" be aliens are like arrogant rich people who think everyone is rich.

personally, i think god is our planet. wink* (one god)

If earth is god, what is the sun? And what are aliens? From another god (planet)? Hm well, that's actually an plausible theory, since Mars and Jupiter and so on are gods as well
I find it more logical to see god as a universal something, not limited to earth.

There's an estimated 1,000,000,000,000 galaxies visible from our sky. Each galaxy has anywhere from 20 billion stars to over a trillion stars. Each one of those stars could have a solar system, composed of innumerable amounts of planets. So yes, I believe aliens do exist. Whether they have traveled here or not can't be proven, but I doubt very seriously there's no one else.
