We all got to learn to drive someday. Its a manual so the gears are still very intimidating..i prefer my bike personally *)

Congratulations, I'd like to see a pic of your car once it's painted....I remember my first car,; it was my dad's '91 oldsmobile cutlass...it was pretty nice for a first car even though it was 10 yrs. old he kept it up well for me.

 

my first car was a mitsubishi mirage with no power steering

it was an absolute bastard of a car and i could never reverse park with it

mine couldn't even have gotten me a bus pass if they had wanted to. (well if we'd have lived where there was one they could have. but then i'd have probably grown up as ignorant of NATURAL reality as most people these days seem to have)

my father didn't even get himself a car until halfway through the year i graduated highschool! well he did get me a honda 55. actualy he got it for himself, then gave it to me, having fallen off of it too many times trying to be too macho to relearn what he had obviously forgotten about riding on two wheels.

this was before he sold the only place we ever owned to buy the first car HE ever owned. my mom never did learn how to drive btw.

Old VW's cost so much to keep in good shape... My '74 Bug has cost me 4 times what i paid for it already just to keep it roadworthy...
