All last week it was in the high 70's at the beach and now that I have the day off it's 60 ): . I was so excited to go to the beach today and now I can't.
You poor, poor dear! Wanna trade? We have about five inches of freshly fallen snow/sleet and the temp is around 30.
She left. Had it been possible I suspect there would have been a door slam type of reaction to my response. I'm sorry but any quasi-sincere expression of empathy would have been disingenuous on my part... no wait- it was...
I was agreeing with your stand, since I see 8 inches of snow when I look out the window, kinda depressing after it was 70 this week...
No kidding! Can't change the weather so I try my best to roll with it. I haven't measured the snowfall so we may have received as much as you. As of 11pm last night when I cleaned off my car and moved it for the plow to clear the parking lot we had around five inches and it was sleeting a little. This morning my car was covered but not buried. I'm a little disappointed that the storm didn't leave a more picturesque landscape like so many late winter and early spring storms will but it isn't nature's job to pose for my camera (or is it?). Cold and nasty weather like this makes me appreciate nice days even more... and there are certainly some to come shortly. Funny, March has been more winter like than January was!
Its 80 here right now, cooling down after a few days of >100 weather, its beautiful! I'm moving to Scotland in 2 weeks, tell me i'm doing the right thing!
That's sooooooooooooooooooo unfair!!!! I'm a little busy now but when I get some time I'm going to throw the mother of all hissy fits! How dare the weather throw a parade in my rain... or something like that...!
it's really nice here, but we're all infected and tired. so we just keep all the doors and windows open, since our meds have us in a collective stupor. dave's swimming at a casino in vegas. it's 90+ there. lucky fucker.
Well I've got both Stinkfoot & Wheels beat with a fresh 10 inches of snow, but anytime you want to switch my 28 F for your 60 F, I'll be more than happy to O' Mary J blige Hotwater
Like I said, i'm moving to Scotland, or else somewhere else in Britian, and not only will it be cold, but a lovely grey drizzle for most of the year. JOY!
In regard to the weather I'm just like you, whereas my family and friends don't understand how anyone could be so happy when it's cold, dark, and raining outside - I just love it and find it uplifting Hotwater
Uh well, I don't know how i'll handle it having lived in semi-arid desert for most of my life, where even winter days have their share of sun...but I LOVE green, deep wet luscious green, something that is seldom seen here. I do love rain too, humid summers with everchanging skies and thunderstorms as opposed to months of unrelenting scorching sun. I look forward to it.
I'd rather it be in the 60's than in the 70's or even 80's. It's 80 something degrees outside I'm hiding inside from the sun, lol. I hate this crazy weather around here, it was snowing just a few weeks ago!
its so bitter today. i had no hat or gloves at the parade...after walking around boston..so cold and windy. i'm wrapped in a blanket right now
