I like your reasoning of losing attachments...What a spiritual reason to release them...though most people get them for spiritual reasons or to fit it. What a wonderful decision.

My reason for getting the dreads was indeed a spiritual one, a transition into a new phase in my life. And cutting them was yet another phase.

I can't express enough how freeing it was to let them go. As I've said before, I'll miss them, but I'm looking forward to the future.
