My favorite of these three was the yellow bentines. Very fun. Used to live in the same town as the second band. The first one was cool too, interesting to hear that sound coming from Ireland.

    Think you'll enjoy this...

Just wanting to tell everyone about a gutsy new artist I found on Myspace. Her name is Sheila Swift, and her new album is called “The Shape of Things.”

To me, Sheila sounds a lot like Pat Benatar back in the day, which I realize is sort of an old-school description – but to me, Sheila Swift has that same vocal power and rocker quality to her songs. I think my favorite song off her new album is the first track called “Feel Like I Do” which also sounds a little like Avril Lavigne to me.

Some of Sheila Swift’s new music, including her song “Feel Like I Do” is available for listening on MySpace, if you’d like to give her a listen.
