    What do you all think?

How would I look as a blonde? I'm going to get the kind that washes out in a few weeks. I haven't been a blonde since I hit puberty. My work doesn't allow me to do any unnatural colors, so I'm limited in my options and I thought a brief change might be fun.

Yeah i would get highlights too. You can make your hair look completly blonde with highlights just ask for really light chunky allover highlights. This will be costly though...and blonde hair requires alot of upkeep.

    p.s. cute baby

About the dye you're planning on using--Semi-permanent dye won't lighten your hair. Anything that will lighten your hair won't wash out in a few weeks.

I second (third?) the blonde highlights. There are great DIY highlighting kits out there that are pretty user friendly and inexpensive.

On another note, you'd look great with even darker hair, too; you have the right skin tone to go either way if you wished.

lace and feet is right, you wouldn't be able to go temporarily light. When lightening your hair, you need to use products with bleach in them. Sadily, lightening hair isn't as easy as darkening it.
Anywho, I think you would look great with a blonder color. The highlights are a good idea, espcially since you would have to do something permanent in order to get lighter. Highlights are a nice, slow way of easing yourself into the color :) or you can just do it all at once, totally up to you. but I think it would look awesome

Aw, you and your baby are adorable :)

Anyway, I would think highlights as most other people said. Your natural hair color is really fitting to you, and I think highlighting it, instead of getting rid of it completely, would be good. But hey, it never hurts to experiment, I expermient with the 2/3 week dyes all the time! If you really, really wanted to try blonde, I would og with one of those, and if you didn't like it so much but liked the color, then go with the highlights. I found a really good red-ish dye that I absolutley hated, but looked fantastic in lowlights... Dyes are weird like that...

    Well good luck, have fun:D

Highlights sounds good - if I get the chance, I'll see if I can get them done!

For those that thought my kiddo was cute, here's what he looks like now. [IMG]

i'd do highlights and a richer bronzish lowlighting, too. like a caramel shade to compliment the highlights and you're natural haircolor. it ends up looking MUCH more natural, when you don't just have random streaks of a single color through your hair.

I second the low lights. I was highlighting my hair and I found it looks so blah...then I bought a kit that did some toffee low lights (my color was the same as yours) and it looked awesome. I always had lots of people complementing me on the number of colors I had in my hair.

platinum blond looks silly ... i think you would look good blond. You would have to make your eye browns a bit lighter. People with dark hair who dye it blond usually look a little silly with dark eye brows

depends on if you're trying to look natural, or trying to look outrageous. i like black brows and platinum hair, if someone isn't obviously trying to pretend to be natural. i like my hair fire engine red, but my brows are blackish. no one for a moment would think i'm trying to look natural.

example: gwen staphani's hair is cool, and she has really bark brows. You have to have the right shade of dark brows, though, lol, if that makes any sense....mine looked really weird when I did my hair platnum blonde since my hair is dirty blonde. I had to pluck the hell out of them, lol
