My friend and I hung out last night, and I told my mom I was going out with him to the mall or some shit, and we just drove around smoking pot. Then I got home and my mom asked me, "You guys been doing pot?" and I said "What?" and she repeated herself and I was just like yeah. She then said "I knew you were high yesterday with your other friend, too" to which I said yeah, and she just said, "Well, you still have to take your friend home at 9:30." So I dropped him off and came back home and she was just laying in her bed so I walked in to test her and said "I'm back" and she was just like ok. She didn't say anything this morning, but today after school we talked about it. She didn't seem to care about pot, except for the fact that it's illegal and she could get in all sorts of trouble if I got busted wether it be one of my friend's parents catching their kid high after he hung out with me or me getting in an accident. I told her I knew she smokes pot. At first, she played dumb, then tried to blame it on my dad, but finally admitted to smoking pot (though still blamed it mostly on my dad). I asked her what I should do with my weed and she said I should dispose of it (throw it away, burn it). I just laughed and said that'd eb a waste and she said we'd talk about it later, but I doubt we will. Anyways, what the hell should I do? I'm a fucking pot head. I've been smoking weed for a year and a half, and I've been getting high literally everyday since January. I can't just go cold turkey. And I KNOW I can't quit smoking weed for two more years (I'm 16). I'm more depressed than anything, though I'm also really pissed off at the government because this whole shit is a direct result from them being fascist bigots. Plus, when we talked she told me that a friend of the family got arrested in Arizona smuggling marijuana, and that really pisses me off. Can anyone help me? BTW, keep in mind that this isn't the first time I've been busted. The first, and only other time, was in early November when my best friend and I ODed on jimson weed and had to go to the ER. She also knows that I've done shrooms and DXM before, but not any more.
sounds like you got off real easy. Just continue smoking like you have been, if she catches you again i doubt she will care much. Its not much of a problem.
How can you be pissed at the government? Even if it was legal, do you think at 16 it would be legal for you to smoke it? It would be just like alcohol and the legal age would most likely be 21. 18 at minimum. Either way, I don't think you have a right to be pissed at anyone, especially your mother considering she is right.

i got busted by my mom about a month ago, i had left my pipe in my pocket the night before (if i had it in my jeans pocket she'd have noticed) so i just left it in my coat pocket, and in the morning my mom was going outside to start her car and threw on my jacket and bam, there's my pipe in my pocket, my dad was out of town so she didn't say anything about it until he got home so she could ask him how to deal with it (my dad used to smoke pot all the time up until he married my mom 12 years ago), in the meantime i'm wondering WTF happened to my pipe so i was sitting in my room watchin TV one night, and they called me downstairs to the livingroom. they told me to sit down (which got me kinda nervous, i wasn't sure what i was gettin in shit about) and my dad handled the whole situation, and pretty much all he said was "we found some drug paraphenelia in your coat pocket, we've suspected for some time that you've been smoking pot and it's fine if pot is all you're doing, just don't get into those chemical drugs that fuck up your brain. you can have your pipe and stuff back, but i don't want you smoking it in the house, and i don't want your sister to know that you do it, and i don't want you smoking cigarettes" and they let me go on my way. and that was pretty much the end of it, if i'm stoned at home and they come home instead of me usually hiding in my bedroom i'll come down and talk to them, and they'll mention something about my eyes being red, we'll laugh about it, and then they'll do whatever, i'll go back to my room and do whatever, all that really came from them busting me was it's less bothersom when i'm stoned and in the house but it seems to me that you're totally off the hook about it man, she'll probly bring it up once or twice in the next year, and then she'll let you be you and let you continue on with your life
i have a post in the forum about me gettin walked in on durina session. you guys should check it out but to the OP. its sounds cool to me. I know kids that have lost thier cars (when we were 17) and all kind sof crazy shit. If your mom smokes she cant do too much harm to you. Just keep it halfway discreet and you should b set.
