I have a room with no closets that i would like to split into 2, 1 side for budding, 1 side for vegetation. I need something light weight that i can hang from the ceiling to block out the light from the vegetative plants when the budding ones are in their night cycle. Any suggestions? Would mylar work?

    Thanks in advance!

Dude, i thought about this too, but i already had something to work with see? we have a room, small one but whatever, and it had a bunkbed in it, nobody uses it, so now if i can... keep the padre from finding out... you can get short plants and starts, and clones on the top bunk with ceiling lighting, move rows every week or two and make a sea of green, you know with progressive stuff so you can harvest three or six plants every few weeks... and then, in the bottom bunk you hang wool blakets or tarp or whatever and you hang cure underneath your cloning and seeding center.

All I'm saying is maybe a bunkbed is a good idea.
take the mattress off of course....

    Peace

p.s. just the new plants on the top bunk, not your twenty other plants, those hit the floor and have appropriate lighting, now this room has a good window for venting into a large inclosed yard...

the bed cost like fifteen bucks at goodwill or something btw

Does anybody like that idea, or think itll work?????

You're growing without the parents knowing? Bad idea imo.

But to answer, yes bunkbed would work fine, ditch the mattress, put a liner down, enclose the sides w/ mylar or black/white film. Add lights and your'e good to go.

At home improvement stores they have sheets of insulating board. one side is white and the other foil. They are wall heigth and easily trimable. Those and some wood (for framing) would do the job perfectly. Be sure to turn the light on in the veg area then enter the otherside to look for light leaks.
