Friend Zone Sucks! help

hey, me and this girl are pretty good freinds i guess..lol weve been freinds for a while, we dont do anything more than hang out, no cuddling, sex, hugs, kisses, etc. but i feel kind of a connection, and i think she does too...she asked me to go with her to prom, and i of course said yes, but i wanna get out of this freind zone...i think im startin to sink in lol, and i hate it, how could i make it clear i wanna be more than just freinds, cuz i like her and i think she likes me too, im not lookin for just sex to make it clear, i like this girls company, i respect her a lot..

since were going to prom im definitly talkin to her about me liking her more than a freind on prom night, but id like to make it clear b4 that time, what should i do?! i told her she should come over sometime soon to see my house haha, and she said she definitly will, so when she comes over, should i do anything outta the ordinary'? i think bout her a lot, like when we hang out we have fun, laugh...i think we would make a good couple, and if we were together i could see us together for a long long time... i dont wanna just b random and SAY i like her more than a freind, and i dont wanna hug her randomly or kiss her randomly cuz that would just make things wierd...idk what i should do!!! HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

The message is clear and the cool thing is, it gets you out of having to figure out what to say and when. Once she gets the flowers, she'll be the one trying out coversational gambits in her head.

 

If she does feel the same way, then there should be some chemistry and im sure the prom will create a perfect opportunity for a kiss.

If i were you, i wouldn't say anything, i'd just kiss her when the time is right and feel if she likes me - you'll find out for sure at least.

P.S. i know you dont like the idea of kissing her randomly but it would be better ( so long as the timing is good) then "hey babe, you know what? i like you much more then a friend" because even if she does like you it can still be awkward.

ALSO she used to go out with this dude in collage and there done now, there not going out, and now she talks to me more and shes i guess tryin to get closer to me...

Prom will present you with the perfect opportunity to move forward a bit. You'll both be in a different state of mind that night, so make it apparent that you find her attractive, give her plenty of compliments, and let your eyes say what you might be afraid to. Be confident, don't be afraid to take her hand, treat it like a date. Show her in every way possible that you have potential to be a boyfriend, and she will probably see you in a new way. Pal, you've already gotten farther than you know simply by her asking you to go to prom with her...you're not too deep into the friend zone, so don't lose any more ground. Don't panic, just relax and move things slowly but steadily forward as the evening goes. A kiss at the end of the night, idk...just watch her reactions to everything. Best of luck to you.

 

Yes it would be awkward, you need to get this 'random' thing out of your mind, im not saying you should randomly kiss her out of no where, the timing has to good. As has been said prom should present you with a real romantic opportunity, just dont be afraid to take it.


This idea of you randomly kissing her is a bad one though, so i thought i should mention; she should see it coming, dont be afraid to go all the way over to her mouth, if she wants it, she'll lean in, if not she will pull back and you can move back, move on and enjoy the rest of the night. but if she doesnt see it coming it will be weird.

 

btw i have done a lot for her to kno i like her, i told her i like her several times, and i always give her compliments, she knows i like her im sure!! but if she likes me back why isnt she doin anything to show me signs etc, idk i guess thats just the type of girl she is, ill just take things slow, and try to Go up the "ladder".

MAJOR UPDATE!!!!
today the girl came over my house, i gave her a hug when i saw her which i dont usually do, so THATS GOOD! it started when she IMed me sayin shes bored i told her she should come check out my house, and she did!!! so she came over and we were sitttin and talkin laghfin n stuff, it was chill...she deff likes my company
then we went to get somethin to drink and we were just havin a good time, and then towards the end, we were walkin around the clubhouse in my community and she like got closer while we were walkin and touched me when she could of lol so shes tryin to get close too i guess, ALSO i always joke about her having a fat butt, and i like it...and she finds it funny, so when she was walkin she was like LOOK TODAY MY BUTT LOOKS FATTER THAN USUALL, so i like slowed down so shes infront of my and i was like omg it does! it looks dandy hahaha

wow your reading into things pretty deep, calm down a bit. If your attracted to her, be honest and talk to her and see what SHE thinks, no point in stalling, just be a man and do it, otherwise your wasting your time.

Do you have a chance? hell yeah man! by what you've written she definatley seems to dig you... alot, whether to wait for the prom or not, dont worry about that, just take the moment when it's right (wether that be at the prom or before)

 

yea she used to talk to me almost everyday for a week and then she just like disappeared, idk what to do. i talked to her a few days ago i told her i havent talk to u for a while what u been upto, and then i was like nice taklin to u again bye....and she sounded pretty normal but if i dont talk to her, she doesnt talk to me u kno what i mean?! if i dont start a convo than were nott talkin, also prom is in a week and she said she will come get a tux with me and she hasent yet...i dont give a fuck, if she waits till the last minute im not fuckin goin with her, shes gettin on my nerves.

 

Oh no! You're making the classic mistake man, I just did this a few months ago actually. It's obvious she likes you dude - she asked you to the prom, and she is showing you how delicious her butt is... WAKE UP! So don't blow it now by pulling back, as it sounds like you're doing. It sucks but some girls really won't make a single advance towards you (even though she already has), so don't be surprised if you're the one always calling her. Just give her a call man, ask her to hang out, and jump right back in to where you were the other night with her touching you and all of that. Good luck
