ok this is assuming that a major part of life is self-discovery. Well i was thinking that since astrology can be a great tool for probing into yourself and others personalities this is a good theory. Maybe the people around you can help you to grow in a certain sign ex. joes friend jan is a gemini sun, he is a gemini ascendant, if joe observes spends more time with jan, she can help him grow into his gemini ascendant. just a though, might be wrong but i've tried this. i was meditating one night and i couldnt get my friend off of my mind, i was probing reasons why and it turned out he has an aquarius sun and my moon is aquarius. i started thinking about how i acted when i was"acting out" my moon sign, it was very similiar to how he acted most of the time. its weird i know and i didnt make it very clear but i hope you guys get what im trying to say. i took this as sign to study my inner emotions(what moon is about) and i was very suprised at how much i learned about myself.
I think that is a great thought. I have a Capricorn ASC. I act a lot like one act work and work with a lot of capricorns too. Being around them to me is great as I enjoy being around them as well as learning from them
