i just registered, I'm looking for somewhere to live free from the mechanations of this society, I've reached the time that I've decided it's time to live like a real human, I can't deal with the life that's been forced on me so I'm looking for a place where money doesn't exist, or at least matter. I'm willing to work of course, but preferably farming or something that I can see the direct result of my actions. preferably somewhere I can just...be, I don't mind responsibility, but the things that everyone talks about (jobs and such nonsense) doesn't appeal to me. I just can't deal with a world like this. I want to live somewhere where how much money I make doesn't matter. I have very, basic beliefs. i'm looking for somewhere that doesn't rely on electricity so much, actually I'd prefer to be without electricity. I smoke pot, and drop tabs every once in a while, but i can do without (the acid at least). I'm pretty easy to get along with, so... any places?
hi ,if you are in australia or thinking of coming to australia and want to help me get a commune started get in touch with me ,please
hmm... thanx for the link, It seems like It's more in city living, I've decided to just follow the example of another here and roll out afoot, and see where it takes me. I live in maryland, so I really only have the choice to go south by southwest.
I'm looking for the same sort of thing. Something more no escape (with ray liota) style. But without the evil group that allways attacked them. I dont want to be around any kitchen appliences or power tools, I don't want to see a hummer or ferrari ever again. I want to smoke what i grow and eat what i grow... Anyways let me know if you find anything like that. Thanx.
Hey you guys that's great. If either of you two guys or anyone else out there finds this place make sure you let me in the loop.
We're in the process of starting a community called Echowood based on cooperation, environmental responsibility, social growth and having fun. We will have an organic farm, crafts, a pond, and a small forest. We're closing on the land in a week: 24 acres about 40 miles from Austin Texas. If you are interested feel free to contact me at pdedek@txstate.edu We don't have a website up yet but are working on one. - Peter
