I was with my exchange trip organization last week in Cologne and Bonn, and I was with 30 other exhcnage students from the US, and I got everyone to go to Cologne and do the Free Hugs thing, in front of the Cologne Dome and in other parts of the city. It was so amazing, and everyone had a ton of fun, there was a lot of laughing and good hugging going on. Thats not to say of course, that there werent people who didnt want hugs, but there were also many who were into it. We even ran into all these French people, who didnt understand our signs (which were in English AND German) since they could only speak French, but we just started hugging them and they got it and soon we were all hugging. haha Its just cool being out there and seeing that youre surprising people and brightening their days a bit, as cheesy as that may sound. Im gonna do it again this weekend, but in Berlin, with some friends. Ill let you know how the next one goes. Cheers and Love, Dylan
I did that at a rock festival I had a hat that said "free hugs" and I got over a million hugs..it was so cool! I love strangers. ^_^
wow that sounds awesome! and it doesn't sound cheesy that you brightened their days a bit! i'm sure if i got a random hug from a stranger i'd be thinking about it all day long! keep doing what you're doing!
You make me proud to be human, Piano person Don't really care for digital hugs, though haha. I just don't feel nothing
