Well, I don't get to go see Pink Floyd soon...

But I do soon get to go to a Pink Floyd lazer show. Has anyone been to anything like that before?

 

I can't say I've even heard of it. What exactly does it involve?

 

Yup, I went to the one here at the planetarium about five years ago. I actually went twice. The first time I was on LSD, the other time I went sober. Needless to say, I didn't find the second time nearly as enjoyable.

 

They play the DSOTM album (or music from a variety of PF albums... usually just DSOTM) and project lasers and certain images relating to Pink Floyd. It's really kind of lame, but it's something to do on a cold, rainy afternoon.

 

i've been to planetariums
but i haven't gone to the floyd tribute shows...i could easily, theres a bunch in toronto...but i'm too cheap

 

Haha...I could see that being kind of fun, given the right conditions and company. It sounds like an enlarged equivalent of sitting in a friends room at age 15 while listening to Pink Floyd, with the black light on, stoned.

 

That's basically what it is.

 

LOL. I wonder if there are any of these shows near me any time soon.

 

they're everywhere, i'm sure you could find one.....or....make your own....
you could have so much more fun making your own, invite friends or strangers...maybe even make money

If it's what I think (That pith helmet looking building on 283) I'd go. I hear it's good.

 

If I had the equipment and facility I totally would. Admission would be free; I would just encourage everyone to smoke and make a killing selling snacks and drinks.

That's a good idea. You should have a Munchie Wagon, drive around and service all the areas where stoners hang out.

that's kind of how I feel about life. not nearly as enjoyable when not on acid.

yes I have seen the pink floyd lazer light show before. they played dark side of the moon in its entirety and wizard of oz along with it. quite amazing...... they had a smoke machine and lazer lights too. soo coool. and I wasnt on drugs.......

 

Yeah, if anything I'll either go sober or smoke a little weed....
