Might move to Katy. standerdized tests?

    Hello,

    if i do move to texas i will have 11th and 12th grades thier i was wondering since i live in florida and im finnished with Fcat in 10th grade if im going to have to do more tests??!!

    yea it's standard in texas, you'll have to take a test each year. TAKS i believe it is called. something like that. Anyways, they used to only test 9 and 10th grades, but now it's all grades.

    Yeah its called TAKS its so lame.....i live in Katy Texas its nice here and people are alright. Yeah their are tons of test over here for schools and such.

    Yeah alot of tests and yet we are the one of the worse for publik edukayshun.

    Damn i hate standerdized tests. I love katys mall! movie theader inside its so cool!. and if i move i get a car. ill probably get a car anyway but much sooner in texas.

    all the grass is dead in katy i hate that!

    I home schooled my son and no testing is required. He is 16 and just finishing his first year of college
    Why bother putting them in high school? Just put them in a community college for a year and they can skip all that nonsense.

    You can have that outside of school too, and more likely than not a better social experience than on the inside of a building.

    I hate that place
    there are so many stuck up pricks there
    (im from there)
    but their are a few good people there and from what i hear prices on fun stuff are pretty high
