Ok....I've had a tremendous amount of mucus , in my chest, in my nose , ive been eating veggie cheese(very rarely do i eat cheese) , soy, rice milk, never eat eggs, so, i know it isnt from dairy, Um.......i was wondering, I know im getting all this mucus because of an allergy, I'm wondering if theres anything i can do to try and better myself? Naturally would be best. Thank you!

those who get allergic to things easily might have a weak congested liver. no more trans fat, fried food, or hydrogenated oil is a good start.

mucus is a sign of inflammation and the bodys attempt to detox whatever it cant channell through the bowels or skin immediatley.

inflammation is generally caused by acidic cooked food, like soy and rice...and most people live in a constant state of inflammation...you might say our culture is pitta aggravated.

inflammation is reduced by things like ginger, green vegetables, certain herbal tea, fresh vegetable/fruit juice, and raw organic food..things most people don't eat. mint and vanilla are also good, things that have cooling properties to them.

oxygen and fresh air are also anti-inflammatory..hence relaxed feelings when we are in nature around so much greenery...helps us cool off and unwind.

soy and gluten are common allergies and it sounds like you eat both(rice=gluten). it may be a good idea to get tested to figure what the culprit really is. quinoa is a good gluten free grain...i think millet is one too, their just like rice but healthier. try those and see if they make u react like rice does. also try hemp milk instead of soy and see how that works for you. maybe even try almond milk(even though some people do have tree nut allergies), but try to find an organic version or make it yourself.

MSM(a supplement) can be helpful, and it is natural.

Go into a health food store and ask the person where the allergy section is, and ask them what they know about those supplements.

also - it's worth noting that certain good fats(omega-3) have inflammation reducing properties. hemp seed would fall in that category and it is also completley free of gluten and no-one is allergic to it. it's a universal food we can all eat and be very healthy eating.

flax seed also has omega-3 fat. spirulina also has GLA, a good fat, and phycocyanin good for reducing inflammation...also high in sulfur, it will help your liver like MSM will.

I might also recommend taking a good digestive enzyme supplement too - this is a good one here - http://174486.amazonherb.net/Group06_DigestazonPlus.aspx

Don't eat too many of these good fatty foods...OD'ing on fat, even good fat, is rough going for the liver. Light food like fruit+vegetables is usually what we need the most of...and digestive enzymes help when we eat stuff other than that.

    I hope this helps!!! :)
