Lately i have been extrmely interested in skateboarding. most of my friends are cool with it but some of them say that hippies shouldnt skate? i raved on to them about how hippie isnt a fashion statement etc but i was just wondering your opinion... i can skate a bit and im in love with it. it is becoming my life. ive meet so many new friends since i started and.... ahhhh im sorry i just absolutely love it so much. but yeah.....
If you spend your whole life trying to fit into a stereotypical label, you will miss out on a lot of activities that you could have enjoyed. Do what makes you happy. Be who you are.
why does it matter being a hippy what type of stereo you have? i know lots of the kids have ipods nowadays but having an old rca turntable is just as good... its about the music
It is acceptable if your skateboard has peace signs all over it and if you skate wearing at least one piece of hemp somewhere.
most skaters are pretty much anything goes - at least they were when i skated. there were hippies and punks side by side on ramps swapping war stories about gnarly injuries. i had a mohawk and still jammmed the Dead when i skated. it's all in your frame of mind. have fun; go with it. my son's starting to skate & i'm thrilled.
i don't think that if your a hippy you have to have any particular hobbies. if its what you love to do, do it.
if ya feel like doing smth do it it's the only rule in life don't let stereotypes affect or limit ya i loooooooooooove skateboarding (unfortunately only watching it)
whos to say what you can and cant do! if youwant to do it, if you have the passion for it! GO FOR IT!
