I just used AdAware SE on my computer for the first time in ages. I used to use it without ANY problem, but this time when I deleted all the crap that it found, my computer just completely fucked up.

When the adware died, so did my internet, my firewall, and other shit too (i'm assuming). So, I decided to log off then log back on... Maybe that would solve the problem. NOPE. I logged back on and nothing showed up. It only loaded the very basic apps, and showed my background picture.

I restarted the computer to see if THAT would help, but when it came back on it did the same thing. I waited for about 5 minutes and it finally came up with my whole desktop and everything, except the programs weren't working (of course). I tried restarting the firewall and it told me that it couldn't start it.

I ran system restore and put it back to yesterday, that's how I'm talking to you now. The original problem I was trying to fix is that everytime I use google, I click on the first 5 or 6 results that come up and they forward me straight to ads and bullshit.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER

First of all to stop the ads and all spyware crap never EVER use internet explorer, use firefox. it has some nice add-ons like script-blocker. It sounds like you have a virus or trojan. And sometimes they get themselves into important system files that you usually cant, or shouldnt just delete without replacing. When you scan your computer always unplug yourself from the internet. This stops alot of them from working properly. AVG is a good free anti-virus for windows and you always want a spyware remover too like ewido.
